I liked this book so well I ordered some as gifts for several of my friends! This book is wonderful!

I chose this book because I say a lot of prayers at meetings and gatherings and I was looking for some prayers that would touch on the major issues of the African-American community. This book has been by far the greatest collection of prayers that I have encountered. It has prayers for children, parents, grandparents, peace, healing, graduation, students still in school, etc. It is just a wonderful asset to have for the African American Christian who knows the power of prayer!!!

I got this dictionary a couple of years ago. It has an amazing amount of detail on a broad number of computer topics. Most everything I have wanted to define is in here, minus proprietary terms specific to a particular vender of course. But amazingly, most general industry terms are defined. Well done.

I thought I knew what most computer terms meant before I got this dictionary. When I started reading it I couldn't believe the detail about each word and acronym. There's even information in the dictionary that I have been trying to find for a while. It was all there and more. I loved it and there are so many words.

I purchased Signs the Spiritual Sky from Dr. Gibson and I truly
love the product. This version allows me to calculate the emotional energy of any day, date, place or time depending on the movement of the planets. This system of astrology is a bold and visionary departure from the systems that I was used to using. But after I gave it a try, I found that the advise and observations were extremely accurate and concise. I will need to study the system more but this guy is onto something. I am glad that I gave this software a chance. I would like him to add a bigger atlas, ACS or something like that. The online help file included on disc is very helpful and huge. Almost too much information!!

Dr. Mitchell Gibson has managed to produce a software program available on CD (a great partner to the book of the same name) which allows even a novice to produce astrological birth charts or charts for specific events. The entire process from software installation to viewing a chart takes place in minutes; there are NO hurdles to overcome. The charts may be printed including or excluding graphical representations and includes traditional views as an learning tool to becoming proficient in 'Modern Astrology' technique. This reviewer had the rare pleasure of attending Dr. Gibson's 'Modern Astrology Seminar' featuring practical demonstrations of the software and an entertaining lecture explanation of the inherent philosophy. However, even without this benefit, the software help file takes a user through each step necessary to produce a chart, intrepret the chart and print the chart. Professional astrologer or novice, this tool affords the opportunity to expand your awareness and knowledge; you will enjoy the experience Dr. Gibson has astutely provided. no other book has captured my sons attention like this one.he sings the rhymes and giggles as the child attempts to escape from his bath. It is a great bedtime ritual.your child will run to grab sleep song to read before bed every night. Trust me you will not be sorry.

My kids loved this book. They're both toddlers aged 1-3. It's short, the pictures are exquisite, and the rhymes make it fun for kids to chant. A great book.

I found this at a book sale and took it to a friend I was visiting in London..then missed it so much I just bought another copy for myself. Which is currently being loaned to all the single women in my office!

Soul Theology causes you to think about what you believe and how your belief system influences everything you say and do. It is groundbreaking as it is a guide into the heart and soul of a people who have survived against the odds and continue to triumph. The definition of "core belief" has become the foundational piece for our health ministry. For we need to know what a healthy core belief is, to possess it, then use it as a point of reference in how we see ourselves in relationship to God and others. This book will be especially helpful for counselors who counsel persons who possess deep religious convictions. In general, it is an easy reading book for anyone interested in the subject matter.

This book broke ground becaused it identified and demonstrated that certain African American core belief could uplift and heal. Soul Theology showed that what was positive and healthy in one culture could be of benefit to others. African Americans can be proud and others can be glad. I may have a small bias. I bought three in these series of test books for my children. The tests can be divisible into short segments so are not overwhelming to the child (and are easier for a parent to encourage a child to do!) What I have found the most helpful so far is that the tests have identified a few areas in which my children could use some review. This is very helpful to a parent who wants to be thoroughly familiar with his/her child's skill levels. The other key advantage is that doing these tests periodically make the real test less strange and scary.

It is very good book for younger child to get a felling what is the test looks like. It is step by step guide book to teach children how to take the test, also it is a fun book to read.

Elsie Larson was to be my instructor, through Long Ridge Writer's Group. My interest in her as an instructor led me to purchase this book. It was life changing because I was struggling with fear. The fear grip, had taken hold and God used this book to set me free. Helping care for someone that was depressed was even harder than I had imagined. I found myself depressed and it smothered by ability to write. Now, that I have been delivered from this evil, thanks to God and Elsie's book; I have prepared to write again. The book specifically focused on the fear of our emotions towards those we care for and those trying to support us. Trying to encourage a depressed person, was as much a challenge as caring for someone maybe with cancer. The struggle is with the mind. I've since, been able to release many frustrations and I'm grateful. What I enjoyed most about the book, was the fact that each writer concluded their passage with a scripture and a special thanks to God. Elsie, if you are reading this comment, I know you were chosen by God to write. Your writing is so inspiring and I'm sorry that I did not have the opportunity to have you as my instructor. Nevertheless, I will always consider you my first instructor,because God used you to give me the courage to go on with my calling. Thanks for the lesson in overcoming fear. Thank you so much! Each of these authors knows the pain of being a caregiver. As I read, I thought, "I could have written that." It showed exactly how I have felt at different times. It also shows that God is good and He does give me the strength I need to carry on each day.

Great book! I purchased this book because I have a student who was recently diagnosed with diabetes. I wanted the class to understand what their classmate was going through and to answer any questions they may have. I truly believe that educating children on issue such as this will help enhance their lives as well as the child who is experiencing it first hand. Thanks Kim, for a wonderful book for all ages!!

My daughter was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes three years ago. Every year since, I've asked her teachers to let her read this book to the class at the beginning of the year. This is a great tool for the other children to understand what Diabetes is, why my daughter gets special snacks at special times, but most importantly it lets them know that she is just like every other kid. Having Diabetes is hard enough on children without the added stress it can cause at school. I encourage all parents who are in my position to make this book a part of your school education efforts. It shouldn't replace the training materials and meetings, but addresses the often overlooked element of how to help the child with Diabetes fit into the classroom.
